Position: RN – Emergency Department
Employment Type: Full-Time (Permanent)
Location: Chicago, IL
Shift: 12-hour shifts (Night)
Role Overview:
The RN will be responsible for assessing patient conditions, determining severity, and providing immediate care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting. This includes triage, critical care support, and collaboration with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessment, triage, and prioritization
- Provide immediate care and stabilize critical patients
- Administer medications and monitor patient response
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams
- Participate in discharge planning and patient education
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure quality standards
Requirements:
- Active RN License (Illinois)
- BLS, ACLS, PALS (Required)
- 1–3 years of ER experience
- Strong critical thinking and clinical skills
