Cost Estimator
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid: 4 days in office, 1 day remote)
Salary Range: $110,000 - $125,000 + 5% performance bonus
Overview:
This role is pivotal in the planning and pricing of large-scale dredging projects. You will work closely with a team of experts and executive management to design execution plans and develop accurate cost estimates.
Key Responsibilities:
Produce accurate cost estimates for "hard bid" projects (typically those over $25 million).
Review project plans and specifications, and create clear overview drawings for presentations.
Present estimates to senior management and support project managers during execution.
Update and monitor project costs and budgets throughout the construction phase.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Business Administration (or equivalent experience).
Experience: Candidate must have experience bidding on projects of at least $25 million or more
